Introducing Trophy Club Chiropractor Dr. Bryan Hapka

Dr. Bryan Hapka, Trophy Club Chiropractor"I just wish I had known then what I know now," Dr. Hapka says.  "Throughout my life I have endured several knee surgeries due to injuries I sustained playing ice hockey.  In an attempt to get back on the ice as quickly as possible, I chose "quick fix" operations."  These surgeries and trying to play through the pain in the long run prevented him from reaching his full potential in the sport he loved due to his lack of proper recovery and care.  "If I had known to take the time to properly rehab using natural methods, including chiropractic care, I could have prolonged my hockey career."

Dr. Hapka discovered the effectiveness of chiropractic care after he experienced neck pain following a car accident.  "My results were amazing!" Dr. Hapka said.  The chiropractor he visited not only helped to eliminate the pain he had, but also educated him on the numerous benefits of chiropractic including how it supports the healthy function of the nervous system, which controls everything within the human body.  Dr. Hapka continues, "My chiropractor also explained how many professional athletes utilize Chiropractic care to improve their performance.  After my amazing results with Chiropractic care, I began to seriously pursue becoming a Chiropractor myself.  "

Dr. Hapka began his pre-chiropractic education at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota where he studied the basic sciences such as inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, biology, along with basic physiology and anatomy courses.  He received his bachelor of exercise science degree in 2005.  During his time in Northfield, Dr. Hapka played on both the ice hockey and golf teams.

After completing his study at St. Olaf, he was accepted at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. During his three years at Parker, courses included biochemistry, a major emphasis on anatomy and human physiology, X-ray, diagnosis, chiropractic adjusting techniques and patient care in the Parker College Public Clinic. After graduating in 2008 Dr. Hapka established his practice in Trophy Club, Texas.

"I especially enjoy seeing my patients get results above and beyond what they were expecting.  I try to look at the person as a whole, not just a symptom, and provide treatment plans that will help to take my patients' health to the next level," said Dr. Hapka.  "At Hapka Chiropractic we treat a broad spectrum of patients ranging from newborn babies to the elderly.  Everyone can benefit from care whether they are looking to get out of pain, live a healthier life, or reach the next level in athletics."

Dr. Hapka has been married to his wife (and business partner) Kylea for three years.  They enjoy an active lifestyle where they participate in activities ranging from working out, water sports, and mountain sports.  Together they also are active in their church and spend time with their families, including their two young nieces Camille and Olivia.
